Overlooking the Crocodile River
World-class game viewing from your stoep. Where the Big Five roam freely and Africa's soul stretches to the horizon.
Launched in July 2020, Crocodile Rock River Lodge sits on the edge of the ever-changing Crocodile River — the natural boundary between Mjejane Game Reserve and Kruger National Park. Game viewing begins the moment you arrive.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, the lodge comprises two bedrooms within the main house and three separate private cottages. Step into the stunning rim-flow infinity pool and peer out over the bush as game roams freely up to Mjejane's electric fence. An underwater ledge means guests of all ages can stand and take in the view, with shallow entry steps and a handrail for safe, easy access.
Every detail has been considered — from SMEG oven, gas hob and a Samsung 90cm double fridge to Simon Baker cotton linens, a Speed Queen washer & dryer, Jetmaster braai and a Snomaster drinks fridge on the 19-metre verandah. Self check-in via lockbox. Whole property for your exclusive use.
Three Victron 48V inverters, 30kW lithium battery bank, and 36 solar panels ensure uninterrupted power throughout your stay.
Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion & Rhino have all been seen from the lodge's fence line. Plus extraordinary birdlife from Spoonbills to Fish Eagles.

"Absolutely magical. We had elephants at the fence on our first morning, hippos calling through the night, and a leopard sighting on the game drive. The lodge is stunning — the pool overlooking the river is unreal."
"The no load-shedding setup is incredible — we never noticed a flicker. Everything was immaculate. Sitting at the fire pit watching the elephants drink from the Crocodile River at sunset is something we will never forget."
"We came as a group of 10 and the lodge accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, the bedrooms are gorgeous, and having your own game drive vehicle was the icing on the cake. 100% will return."
